Carbon Neutral Shipping Worldwide

Factor Bermuda is an advocate of slow, circular fashion and timeless, seasonless style.

Slow Fashion is the sustainable movement of designing, creating, and buying garments for quality and longevity. It encourages slower production schedules, fair wages, lower carbon footprints and, ideally, zero waste.

Every element of our business is carefully considered with these sustainable concepts at the core.

Our collection is made from a luxurious Italian lycra using ECONYL®, a yarn derived from rescued ocean plastics. Thus, serving to protect our ocean life and the greater environment by supporting a circular product life cycle. As a result, our fabric is luxurious, soft, comfortable and durable but with considerably less environmental impact than traditional materials.

Our collection is made-to-order, each piece is cut and sewn at a boutique atelier in New York with safe, fair and transparent working conditions. The factory is visited frequently to ensure high standards are upheld.

As a made-to-order business, we aim to create zero waste. Our fabric off-cuts are primarily used in the production of our accessories and we are partnering with a local charity to donate any remaining post production fabric and components for redistribution and responsible textile recycling.

All of our swimsuits are packaged in beautiful, branded re-usable swim pouches in effort to reduce single-use plastic. In addition to this, our gusset liners, swing tickets and gift boxes are all made from recycled and biodegradable materials.

In addition to ethical manufacturing and the high level of quality and craftsmanship, another reason we chose to manufacture in New York is to reduce our carbon footprint associated with travel and shipping. We have also partnered exclusively with DHL GoGreen Climate Neutral Service to offset carbon emissions on all of our deliveries. This means with every shipment, Factor Bermuda purchases carbon credits which are donated to various climate protection projects worldwide.
